The LMS Robotics Club was well represented at the FLL Northern Illinois Championship event geld February 8th at Forest View Educational Center in Arlington Heights, Il. Both LMS Robotics Teams, Team 4201, LMS Storm Troopers and Team 4202, LMS Flaming Tsunamis, we're among 62 other teams from the northern region, that competed in the day long event that showcased the work that all the teams had done since late August, when this years Challenge, Natures Fury was announced.
All team were required to develop a unique solution that would help people and communities prepare, stay safe or clean up after a natural disaster and present their solution in a 5 minute presentation to judges. Teams were also judged on how they used the FLL Core values. Team then competed in four 2:30 Robot Competitions, were they needed score as many points as possible with autonomous Robots that had built and programed.

challenge, Nature's Fury. The Flaming Tsunamis are Coached by Mr. Brett Pasternak and Mr. Mike Gut. Team members, Annie C., Josh D., Conner G., John G., Tom K., Jack K., Don M., Ben P., Andy R., and Kristen Z..
The LMS Storm Troopers scored a 395 in the Robot Competition, giving them the 13th highest score at the Tournament.
The LMS Storm Troopers are coached by Mr. Jamie Beedy, Mrs. Kerrie Pasternak & Mr. David Guzzarde. Team members are, Jake D., Matt G., Alex J., John J., Tommie M., Mackenzie M., Kenny O., Tillie P., Nate T. and Bobby T..
LMS Robotics is a school based team from Lincoln Middle School in Mount Prospect, Il. This is the 8th year in a row that at least one team has advanced to the FLL Illinois State Finals.
