Cub Scouts Earn Your:
Robotics Bear Adventure Badge
LMS Team 492 is part of FIRST LEGO League. We like to teach kids and share STEM with others. We created a robotics workbook for Cub Scouts to help them earn their robotics badge.
In order to earn your Robotics Badge, you must complete at least four of the following:
Identify 6 tasks performed by robots.
Learn about some instances where a robot could be used in place of a human for work. Research one robot that does this type of work, and present what you learn to your den.
Build a robot hand. Show how it works like a human hand and how it is different from a human hand.
Build your own robot.
Visit a place that uses robots.

The workbook is designed to aid you in the process of earning your Robotics Badge. The workbook will take you step-by-step through the design process, and show you the world of programming.
Complete the questions and activities in each section. If you cannot complete some part because you do not have the parts or material, ask your pack leader if you can draw a picture, show a photo or use a different method to complete the section. At the end of the workbook, there are more resources for you to look at to find more information. Always check with your troop leader, teachers and library for more information.
