What is the LMS Robotics Club? Does your child have an interest in Legos, robotics, writing scripts, and having fun? Than maybe they would have an interest in joining the Lincoln Robotics club?
Robotics Club
The LMS Robotics club is open to all students and runs for four to five weeks at the beginning of the school year. Using the LEGO MindStorm Robotics System, students will learn how to design, build and program a Robot to solve tasks, autonomously.
Robotics Team
Students then have an opportunity to make one of the Award Winning Lincoln Middle School robotics teams. The LMS Robotics teams compete with over 330,000 children from around the world in the FIRST LEGO League(FLL). Teams design, build and program an autonomous robot to score points on a thematic playing surface. They also research, create and present an innovative solution to a problem as part of their project. All this while being guided by the FLL Core Values. These three elements - the Robot Game, Project, and FLL Core Values - make up the FLL Yearly Challenge.

“The only difference between this sport and all the others is every kid on our teams can go pro. There’s a job out there for everyone of these kids. “ - Dean Kamen, Founder FIRST
